Welcome to Country Axe!
It all started from the wife going to a team builder and throwing axes for the hair salon! She enjoyed herself so much and raved about how much fun it was I was tired of hearing about it. One weekend, we took off for the weekend to just get away to relax and found an escape room that our friends thought would be fun too, so when we finished that they asked what was up for the night and we didn’t really know and they mentioned there was an axe throwing venue that had just opened. So guess where we went?? You guessed it, we threw axes! Being an athlete (pitcher and quarterback), how hard could it be just to throw and axe? Well the first half hour I struggled and was not liking it to much, BUT, as soon as I figure it out the rest of the group did not enjoy it as much when they started loosing games against me! After 2 hours of throwing axes and getting very competitive, I walked out of there telling my wife I am going to open an Axe Throwing Venue AND SHE WAS EXCITED!! And so here I am with North Iowa’s Premiere Axe Throwing Venue called Country Axe! We hope to see you soon to give it a try! Besides how hard can it be? haha
